Maybe there are other videos or were other fights, but that one doesn't look anything like what happened last year -- roaming groups of kids attacking other kids randomly.

Where's the report anywhere or evidence that anything more happened, and esp that BCC kids were attacking WJ kids?

Yeah, I agree if you listen to the audio it sounds like the same incident and looks like it is in back of school so probably near parking lot. Not at G square. It also doesn’t sound like it was nearly as bad as what happened last year — this one almost sounds like a slap fight with then a lot of kids exclaiming. Last years incident was a full on assault with kids needing medical treatment and time off school.

This is totally the courtyard area in the middle of G Square near the former Washington Sports Club, Tailor shop, Hair Salon, Kicks Karate. It is not WJ in the background.

OK -- but the point remains. It's all seems to be one fight. Involving two people. No BCC shirts in sight, but police are there.
So, BCC Bashers: where are the reports, videos or other evidence supporting the claims in this thread that "fights" -- plural -- broke out or that even this one had any connection to the game?

THe original source, which is right there in the tweet, says "Numerous fights."

You're asking a bunch of additional questions that should come to light either from media reporting or the school releasing the information via a community letter. Not us, on DCUM.

Said the checked out parent who failed to parent their violent kid, who should be in jail.

There was apparently some vandalism in Silver Spring with anti BCC statements, but the neighborhood blessed with this graffiti is zoned to Einstein.

Because twitter is always right! It shows one fight that it labels multiple fights and someone runs here to post it.
Look, the problem here is that there are a bunch of people -- perhaps just one troll? -- who are out to bash BCC students and used a tweet, showing one fight, to spin a broad claim that what happened last year was repeated. Nothing else is out there to suggest that. By this point last year, there were loads of videos circulating, many involving kids in their school clothing. My guess: nothing significant happened. And if nobody has anything more than this one fight that doesn't seem to have anything to do with BCC, then I'm not sure why anyone is racing here to bash that school and their kids.

Should be honest communications (is that an oxymoron?) from school leaders or mcps.

Those fights are right in front of cops. Cops jumping right in. The kids clearly don’t care about having cops involved. Can’t blame RJ and all that for this stuff.

This has nothing to do with Einstein. This is BCC and WJ students constantly getting into fights.

I assumed whoever did it thought they were graffitiing a BCC neighborhood.

I go to G square all the time and I’m having trouble recognizing anything in those videos. Is this the alleyway behind not your average joes leading over to the DSw? Are the videographers standing over in front of where the cofffee shop used to be? I would clearly be a terrible witness.

Is there an Einstein neighborhood that looks like it could afford BCC? News to me.

Also, and not naming names... but some adults in sports boosters tend to encourage a rah-rah aggressive culture that I do not appreciate and which might contribute to a sense of impunity from certain kids.

MCPS gives immunity.

Taylor went to the Clarksburg game. Why didn’t he go to this game?

He can only go to one game at a time.

He really needs to find a way to clone himself.

They should expect a fight between WJ and BCC. It's an annual tradition. I'm surprised they allow them play each other anymore.

Isn't this the part of the movie where the coach puts the kids on the boxing team?

Why would a letter to the community be needed? The necessary precautions were in place to ensure a safe game. Parents didn’t pick up their kids after and two individuals got in a fight in the nearby shopping center.

It’s always the BCC kids

It takes two to fight, this was both.

This is a parenting issue. They need to arrest those kids and also hold the parents accountable.
