Maria posted a five and a half minute video on TikTok and takeaways are that she’s not friends with Jenn, she’s never met Devin, and she’s not going on Paradise

Maria today via TT "Let me clear the air on some things. I've never met Devin before, I never went clubbing out with him. This is why I cannot be the bachelorette. This is why I could not do what Jenn did in her position. The moment a man was gonna bring up another girls name to my face would be "there's the f* door." I hate that that happened to her. I hate that she even had to hear those words. It pisses me off but you gotta commend Jenn for how she handled things. She did it like a true bachelorette.

I think he watched it back, and found out that she had sex with the other two guys. And seeing that she told Marcus, she loved him and didn’t tell Devon anything. He said he didn’t want to second!! So he probably felt like he was second. But that’s how the bachelorette does things. so I guess you could kind of figure it out from his side.
If Marcus would have said yes, would she No have chosen Devon?? That’s what I think happened

The timeline that both agree was correct (i.e. Devon lost interest as soon as they flew home from Hawaii in May), does not support your theory that Devon seeing the show when it aired in July/August/Sept made Devon lose his "love" for Jenn. Does not compute. Devon thought this was a show-mance fake engagement and was done with all of it the minute the camera was off.

I feel like she was set up to fail. All of these dudes were cast thinking they were going to compete for Maria or that other lady whose name escapes me. Two white women. They then cast Jenn as the bachelorette but don’t recast the men. A bunch of them drop like flies basically leaving her with a crappy option who then immediately ghosts her and follows Maria. They should have recast the men for her so she would have a real chance. They did something similar to Rachel Lindsay in that there were a number of men her season who did not like black women (she said this in her book).

Agree. Not one of those guys seemed right for her and she needs to work out whatever issue she has with picking bad men.

That explains it. Those men were matched for Maria. How awful to have to date all those men for weeks knowing none of them were your type.
