I feel like the only logical explanation is that Devin had a relationship before going on the show. While he was in the show-bubble, he bought into it hook/line/sinker. Then he went back to his normal life and did a "what happens in Vegas (i.e. Hawaii) stays in Vegas" switch. He was back to reality and the showmance was over....it didn't fit with his regular life.

Either he had a girlfriend that he went back to, or he is a sociopath who deserves an acting contract for being THAT immersed in his tv character. Either way, he's toxic.

I don’t think that’s the only explanation. I’m going with the explanation that he’s engaging in Self-destructive behavior. There were some text messages between the two that were released to a reality TV blogger today. Jen has not denied them. Basically Jen threatened to break up with him and over text message she says she was “just overreacting” and didn’t mean it. Not blaming her, but theres definitely two sides of the story. She’s threatening to break up with him because he’s not acting how she wants, then of course hes gonna feel like he’s not enough for her, which is what he told the whole world last night.

She poured her heart out to him. She was so in love with him. It’s so sad he really didn’t feel the same way. He’s a jerk. He was just saving himself from looking like a real a$$.

I think Jenn has daddy issues. She wants to be loved so desperately. She needs to mature a little. Her time will come. Good luck to her.

Agree that Devin realized he wasn’t her first choice and ultimately couldn’t accept that. Still think it was awful they made her relive the proposal sitting next to him on live tv.
