Yeah, well when I was a kid it was the same, but we couldn’t afford rich people flights, so we’d drive 15 hours each way to visit family. And we didn’t have the luxury of medical bills because we just didn’t visit the doctor.

Good thing my “poors poors” upbringing motivated (terrorized) me to make something out of my pile of nothing. Piss off thinking everything is “unfair.”

Why is it unfair? We inherited nothing. This is America, so we worked our way to the top and now enjoy the fruits of that labor. If you want better vacations, retrain into something more lucrative or start your own business or side-hustle. The world owes you nothing.

+1. Want more money? Work harder. High incomes that afford high lifestyles generally take a high and sustained work ethic.

And also a lot of luck. Your smugness is unbecoming. And I say this as a high income person.

I make $421k a year. I work hard and I am a small business owner. But I am also LUCKY. Be thankful for your circumstances instead of naively throwing lame cliche such as this America work hard blah blah. Not everyone is lucky like you l. Some people try hard, have the will but haven't gotten the break they need.

The only break you need is being born in the US, the greatest country in the world. Everything else is an excuse.
