That’s your opinion. Me reclining or pointing out that I don’t care what anyone else does with their seats is neither rude nor an over-reaction. I would venture to say that telling me I’m somehow being rude for simply doing what I’m entitled to do is pretty rude. You have a nice day. |
Interesting that you arent going after the anti-recliners calling people selfish jerks, etc. Guess your prerogative to denigrate others is limited to the recliners? |
A rule which you have arbitrarily made? You are hilarious. |
Short-torso woman coming on to say exactly this. The headrests are made for people much taller than I am, so the only way to fit the seat to my body is to recline it. Vent your feelings at the airlines who have made things progressively more cattle car-esque, not at your fellow passengers. |
I’ve flown a bunch recently and people aren’t reclining. That said, if the person in front of me reclines then I’m going to recline. It can just be a domino effect. I’m not going to keep upright if the person in front of me reclines. |
Are you people roaming the aisles looking for recliners? How would you even know? I have no idea who is reclined aside from the people in the row ahead of me. I don't care if they do or don't but I couldn't tell you what the other 99% of the plane is doing. |
DP Are you the poster that said “obnoxious. What makes you more special than everybody else?” |
Just because something is permitted does not mean it is the right thing to do. |
DP For the love of god hit “click to show previous quotes” and read this entire thread. Who was the first person to be rude? It wasn’t the person you continue to admonish. It was another anti-recliner. |
Of course it is. Take it up with the airlines if you don’t like it. I’m going to use every comfort feature afforded to me by that overpriced ticket. |
There is no established policy on seat reclining, as evidenced by this thread. Just because you don’t do it doesn’t make it the moral standard. Once again, talk about selfish. Only your opinion matters. Only yours is the right one. |
According to you. Other people think differently. When you're in charge you can make the rules. |
the seat have capability. i would say that the policy is that you are allowed to recline. sinple. |
*simple.

NP - There are lots and lots of things someone is "entitled to do" in daily life that unequivocally would be considered rude. I could pepper every conversation I have with obscenities, including when I am speaking to your children. That's rude, right? But I'm entitled to do it. I can park so close to someone else that it is impossible for them to get into their car, or pull their car from a parallel parking spot. As long as I'm legally parked, I'm entitled to do that - but it's rude. I could go on. I don't think you have thought this through. |
