| My child is a work of art. I can't believe how incredibly beautiful he is. And yes, that's all because I'm his mom. |
Ha ha!!! I'd totally have voted for him for that alone. |
| Please please please can someone or Jeff find us that old thread that was locked? I'm so curious to read it! |
| I doubt Jeff will unlock it. The poster was nuts - as belligerent as one could be in a DCUM forum. Repeatedly insisted that there were definitive norms of beauty + would go batty if anyone dared to question her posts. The child was adorable, but under six, so who knows what will happen over time. The mom seemed pathologically obsessive about her DD's "beauty." |

| I think you can read threads even after they have been locked, you just can't post in them anymore. |
| NP here. I think it's gone. I looked through Beauty and Fitness forum (where the thread happened as I recall) and I can't find it. I was involved in that one and some of my rebuttals to her obsessive ramblings were pretty good, IMHO. Her other thing was that she would "have the last word." Hee hee, Jeff was the one with the last word! |

Today at the mall there were 4 people at the same time around our stroller "aweing" at DD.
It's common for us to be stopped and have people asking about her. Every single time we get out of the house someone says something and it starts as we go down the elevator leaving the house. I guess she's cute

| my son might have been the best looking newborn i've ever seen. he was big, so he's wasn't all squished and blotchy and what not. It's been a little downhill since then. Still cute, but not beating out all of the other babies like he was in the really early days. |

Presentation is everything.
DD gets many more compliments when I dress her up in pretty (pink) dresses than when I dress her in her brother's plain blue onesies! DD also attracts more comments when she smiles and gurgles than when she frowns. Eh. Who cares? |

Why don't you tell me if my baby is the cutest?
Which one do you prefer?

#3?
Of course, I think both my kids are cute. But even I can see that one of my boys is beautiful and the other is merely cute. With Beautiful Boy, I was constantly stopped and told "that is THE most beautiful child I've ever seen" 20 times a day. With Cute Boy, I get "what a cute kid remarks" all the time, but it seems to be politeness. They seem more genuine when they compliment his gregarious nature and cheerful disposition. I'm glad that the gorgeous one has his looks and brains going for him, because he's not very sociable. My cute kid (to be honest, kinda plain looking) has the most wonderful personality -- everyone gravitates to him. |
Are they all yours??? |

I think everyone thinks their kid is the cutest.
My younger son looked like a baby troll doll, not cute at all. Now that he's a teen he turned out to be quite cute. Thankfully he lost the troll doll look, so it worked out. His brother is very good looking as an adult but was just cute as a baby. |
| No, sigh, I love my children and think they are beautiful, but as they get older, they have gotten a little goofy looking. |
