Do you think your kid is cuter than average?

Once a man driving a garbage truck stopped in front of our house and asked if he could take a picture. Who would ever agree to such a thing? Having striking kids always made me afraid of kidnappers.

At least they asked.
Don't think about the number of people who have taken photos without asking.

I actually think one of these babies is kind of fugly but I won't say which one.

C'mon !!! tell us! I also think one of them is not cute at all! It is anonymous! Say it! lol

1- meh, 4 fugly, 2 and 3 cute.

I think #2 is not that cute - not a big fan of the baby receding hairline.

And we KNOW that you have an objective opinion about his looks.

#4 is most definitely not a cute baby. #2 not so much either.

If anyone is still reading this thread... I would be interested to hear from teachers. I wonder if teachers form an opinion on Day 1 about which kids are the cutest, and if those opinions are unchanged after a couple of months of getting to know the kids' personalities. Or if you begin to see a previously-unremarkable child as cuter than the others, and previously-adorable children as not-so-cute, if they turn out to be mean/boring/whiny...

cute is one thing. pretty is another one.
I've had very beautiful students that were rotten on the inside and others who were gems! both inside and out.
I've had ugly students that were so brilliant and pleasant to be around and others that were just bitter.
bottom line you can get any combination easily. I'd say in every single class I get at least one of each.

Right, but does your opinion of a child's physical attractiveness increase once you start seeing how brilliant he is? Or does he stay "that ugly kid who's really smart" in your mind?

My second is totally funny looking. Strange squished baby, now a hairless toddler with huge teeth, a maniacal grin and a devilish twinkle. Love her to bits, like my heart is going to explode, but I'm not entering her into any beauty pageants.

Oh and to all the moms of beauties, I'm constantly complimented on her looks.

The judging of the 4 baby pictures is just cruel. To call someone's baby 'fugly'? Cruel. Also, I think #4 is the cutest! How could anyone not find her cute? (and no, I am not her mother and I do not know her).

baby # 4 is not the cutest at all(IMO) but also, she is not fugly!
