I use the term to describe people melting down about stupid culture war talking points. If you’re losing your mind because someone didn’t use a term that includes every possible gender, or you’re throwing a tantrum about a rainbow in target, then you’re acting like a snowflake. You can be annoyed about things not being your way, but it moves into snowflake territory when you lose your mind over something dumb.

I stay out of my kids’ love lives but might have mentioned a time or two to keep your distance from leftists. Mostly because of their need to make people around them miserable. God help the unlucky people they marry.

That’s interesting.
There has been a lot of talk online about women trending more liberal. I wasn’t clear if it also showed men becoming more conservative.
Either way - Not a great time to be single in the USA.

I’m liberal but my kids don’t have mental problems. I made sure during the pandemic they hung out with their friends a couple of times a week. My kids are teenagers, who have great grades and work summer jobs that have them interact with a wide range of people in DC. One of my kids is friends with the child of an un-indicted person mentioned in the Jack Smith case. I just block it when I have to interact with the kid’s parents.

You aren’t that Liberal if you allowed your children to ignore the six foot mandate during the pandemic. Or did the other family swear to you that they weren’t exposing themselves to anyone else? Only your children. Heck, remember the taped arrows down the aisles of every grocery store? Utter insanity.

I am liberal. Most Democratic candidates and policies align with my political beliefs. As for my choices during Covid, I did a risk/benefit analysis and decided what was best for my kids. That choice was seeing friends outside or forming a “social pod” on the Weds DCPS was not in session. We all got multiple vaccines. I just don’t understand the conservative fixation/obsession with Covid. So strange.
