So... what WOULD you wear to the WH-Japan state dinner?

Very classy.

The blue color is off. Another color would be better.

Why off?
I love that blue.

+1
Stunning.

Sorry can’t post the picture like OP wants! I tried with my IPhone.

I want to like it but the combo of color and cut kind off makes it look like a vintage dressing gown.

Unfortunately, this is boxy/shapeless. The silhouette is terrible and would make even a gamine woman look frumpy.

I can’t post photos from my phone either, but this is my pick:

More conservative because WH and Japan. The structured shoulder ribbon thing is reminiscent of an obi, and the blue is a nice spring color.

This is absolutely stunning - I wish I had somewhere to wear it!

I’ve never looked through so many expensive dresses in my life. Keep getting tripped up with how many are absolutely gorgeous and appropriate from the front while risking serious bum cleavage in the back O.O

To you. I hate this dress. It doesn't even look good on the model.

DP. Not crazy about this one, either. It looks like a good choice for someone who’s a little bit pregnant.

Sorry but that looks like a bad bedspread.
