So... what WOULD you wear to the WH-Japan state dinner?

OMG, so you're not in your 70s and have that menopause belly, right? She was dressed amazingly appropriately for her age and stature. She looked fantastic.

She looked like she rolled out of bed with the sheet wrapped around her.

There is a small subset of wealthy white American women that have no creativity and don't think that anyone should dress in a way that is different from their standards. I'm here to tell you that you're just incredibly boring and people don't like you.

1. Once you find the photo you want online, right click and select "Open image in new tab [or window]"
2. Go to the new tab or window and copy the address. Ideally it should end in ".jpg" -- if it doesn't, maybe try a different photo as I've found other formats don't work as well
3. Click "Post reply" in this thread to open the DCUM comment editor (it's easier to embed a photo in the editor than in the "quick reply" box)
4. Paste the address into your DCUM post
5. Highlight the address and select "Img" from the list of HTML formatting options at the top
6. Preview your post to make sure it is displaying the embedded photo correctly
7. Publish post

What is the Mac alternative to "right click"?

I love this too but don’t think I’d be brave enough to choose something with no waist:
https://www.neimanmarcus.com/p/ungaro-pleated-floral-print-satin-halter-gown-prod270870107?childItemId=NMT5Q6V_4S

Or this if I was just a random person attending and not someone affiliated with the government:

That last one is only $500 so if someone is looking for a sexy Barbie pink inspired dress for an upcoming formal event …I wish I lived the kind of life where I needed this dress!

Maybe a Japanese-American designer:

Same

So I love both those - but that second one only works if you're flat chested. Imagine one of the women with a larger chest wearing it - they'd be strung from the internet rafters by the good people of DCUM.

Whatever Mackenzie would have chosen.

This is perfect. Since the Saks website doesn't allow opening the image, here is one from the designer site.
