Honestly, I think the kids have a blast, so I’m not complaining. It just cracks me up.

I love the Kennedy Center trip they do to see the Orchestra - my girls both took dressing up for that day very seriously.

We refuse to set foot in that wretched place (Kennedy Center). They host and encourage bigoted theater companies who promote religious intolerance by performing the play Book of Mormon.

I am not LDS, by the way. I simply don’t support hate-groups or religious bigotry.

Soooo I’m guessing you haven’t seen it. One of the writers called it his love letter to religion - and it is. The point of the show is that religion has tremendous power to do good in the world so long as it doesn’t get bogged down in details that have been interpreted/misinterpreted by humans to suit their own interests. Sorry you didn’t know.

The writers of South Park wrote it.

Still waiting on the sequel, “Book of Islam.”

Lots of people who saw The Book of Mormon seem to feel awfully defensive about it now. Wonder why.

Years and years ago my kids classes and I think many in the area went on a tour to the local big name orthodontist. They got lots of swag. And I think quite an earful of PR.
