I know our neighborhood es walks to the local Giant up the street when the kids are in K and part of the tour includes the freezer. Honestly, I think the kids have a blast, so I’m not complaining. It just cracks me up. I love the Kennedy Center trip they do to see the Orchestra - my girls both took dressing up for that day very seriously.
We refuse to set foot in that wretched place (Kennedy Center). They host and encourage bigoted theater companies who promote religious intolerance by performing the play Book of Mormon. I am not LDS, by the way. I simply don’t support hate-groups or religious bigotry.
Soooo I’m guessing you haven’t seen it. One of the writers called it his love letter to religion - and it is. The point of the show is that religion has tremendous power to do good in the world so long as it doesn’t get bogged down in details that have been interpreted/misinterpreted by humans to suit their own interests. Sorry you didn’t know.
Still waiting on the sequel, “Book of Islam.”
