Really wanted to ask Mom which position she plays.

Oh, and the girls are 11.

Insanity.

Assuming I know what team you’re talking about, they won SuperCopa in June and Jeff Cup top bracket yesterday. Perhaps pompous, but not exactly insanity, that they are going to top tournaments and not just playing all the same Texas teams all the time.

Yes and at least they were in the top flight unlike the #4 ranked U12 team in the country, which for some odd reason was several flights below. But hey, SYC won their flight so kudos. Maybe they'll move up to #3.

Yesterday’s consolation matches were on grass and the field was so wet and slippery that someone was falling every few seconds. Ref said he was shocked they were allowed to play. Our team was happy to escape without any serious injuries.

The referee is supposed to be the arbiter of field safety. If he didn't think it was safe, he should have called the game.

Solar going to recruit that whole team before next year!

2010 Union won top bracket. They did really good in this tournament so maybe they aren't looking to add more players.

I think at least half were. SYC has been trying to get some back with little luck, they might grab 1, but doubtful.

Interesting how Union 10's won top bracket at Jeff cup beating top competition in the nation yet from what I hear in previous posts on this thread is mostly going to be comprised of Brave players next year? Now that's insanity.

Brave 2010 won in their division as well. So maybe that 2010 Union will get stronger.

Yep, both teams did well. Union’s win over CSA was a good result for area teams. With Arlington winning the 2011s, Nova girls were well represented.

Roster of 25+

It would be extremely foolish to blow up a nationally competitive team for the sake of someone's ego. Fill out the existing team with the handful of players that deserve to be there - there's already room on the roster. Don't act like "blending" teams is going to do anything other than creating an inferior team.

PP. That was kind of my reaction. Oh well. I’m just happy to be dry now LOL

Several came from LMVSC.

Several nova teams made the final in several age group and some won the top bracket (2010 Union and 2011 Arlington) but in general were well represented.

This is a good thing considering some teams came from all over the place.

SYC already has more than two from that group. Results like Jeff Cup just prove how talented the SYC group at Union is. They are not staying together. Some will go SYC, VDA and Arlington so glad MYS can see their arrogance and not make same mistakes with FU
