+1 My earlier post about this was deleted. He has always been a hot head. Has no place dealing with children. My kid had him when he was at Barnsley. |

Yes, the admin here deleted all posts with this information. Unfortunately, there are no charges of yet. The incident was witnessed by administrative staff. The school system did interviews of the staff as well. It's entirely possible no charges would be filed to respect wishes of the family of the child. So I can understand why these allegations with no publicly available proof might be deleted, but the admin also DIDN'T delete the allegations here that Winter was removed for religious beliefs, which also has no public documentation. |

| Nothing was deleted. There were two Ritchie Park chats happening and the other one was just locked so they wouldn’t be split between the two. The locked chat remains on page 3 or 4. |

| On February 9, 2024, the Rockville City Police Department became aware of an alleged assault on a student by a staff member at Ritchie Park Elementary School. During a joint investigation by the Rockville City Police Department and the Montgomery County State’s Attorneys Office, the suspect was identified as Andrew Winter, 54, the school’s principal. On June 3, 2024, an arrest warrant issued by a District Court Commissioner for one count of Second-Degree Assault. Winter turned himself in at the Central Processing Unit, where he will have an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner. |
