It was huge because it was a 500 gallon propane tank that exploded, with 100 gallons inside at the time.

| I absolutely felt it in Rockville. I was scouring the internet trying to figure out what it was. It woke my husband from a nap. I immediately checked the outside of my house thinking a tree limb had fallen on it. |

I’m less than 10 minutes from the scene. We have Washington Gas service in our neighborhood, not sure about the house that exploded. |
