Even if Trump names a VP running mate, that VP has exactly zero GOP delegates from the various state primaries. It's Trump's name on the ballot, not the presumptive VP running mate. No one actually casts a ballot for the VP until nominating convention.

It would be a brokered convention between Haley and Trump's VP pick. If it gets to that point, then its really up in the air.

The GOP picking Haley in a brokered convention over a maga candidate would be a good way to ensure a blue wave

Is anyone watching Haley's press appearances the past few days? As it turns out, she's the one who's not backing down, unlike DeSantis who caved when the going got tough.

She also has stated repeatedly and vociferously that she has no intention of playing second fiddle to Donald Trump as his vice president.
