New Hampshire predictions

Haley should stick around until the convention regardless of the New Hampshire results. Trump is just another cheeseburger away from a coronary.

Trump - 56%
Haley - 40%.

Probably something like that. All those DeSantis voters will migrate to Trump. Don't see any avenue anymore for Haley. SC - her home state - is next. And she will lose that. It's over for her.

So Trump it is.

All those court cases make him stronger. The Georgia case is already falling apart because of the affair between the DA and Lead Prosecutor and the embezzlement charges. The Kennedy third party run helps Trump. Biden gets weaker with every month

Pretty confident Trump is the next President.

So do you want Trump? If not, get involved and help Biden win. I didn't realize how much of a pu $$ y some of you are. Man up. Put in the work.

FWIW, I think you are dead wrong but I welcome you to join me in volunteering to elect Biden.

I am voting for Trump.

Maybe send him some more of your money. He needs to pay those lawyers so they can defend him for shoving that woman against the wall and groping her and then lying about it.

Also for the repeated defamation of her on top of the sexual assault. I hope PP's daughters end up with guys like Trump.

But if Trump has named a running mate, that person becomes the MAGA heir apparent - not Haley.

Well: a) a running mate usually isn't named until pretty close to the convention; and b) nothing says that the convention has to vote for the person Trump selects as his VP running mate. The fact is that being Trump's VP is less of an endorsement than the VP nominated by other candidates because Trump is such a self-centered dick that he doesn't have teammates, he only has subordinates.

Oh Hayley will win or come in second but only because suburban Rs, Is and some Ds vote for her. This same voters will end of voting Biden in general. She’ll get crush in SC, her home state.

The primary is OVER. R candidates only staying in for the off chance Trump goes to jail or a hamburger takes him out. The sooner folks accept reality, the better off we are coalescing around Biden to stop Trump. And yes, Biden is the Dem candidate. Again, reality is calling.

I agree about Trump ultimately winning the nomination, but if Haley wins NH it will be a massive blow to Trump’s ego. He will lash out irrationally. That could have some impact on the trajectory of the race.

How so?

I think the only this that will have a trajectory on the GOP primary is if Trump is not available to be a candidate.

If Haley wins NH, there’s a chance Trump could come completely unglued and say something so beyond the pale that it would actually make people reconsider supporting him. I’m not saying I expect this to happen, but there’s a chance.

If I had a dollar for every time I was sure this had already happened…

I think this is her plan. It's not a bad one given his poor health and legal issues. Just keep running and collecting delegates.

Even if Trump names a VP running mate, that VP has exactly zero GOP delegates from the various state primaries. It's Trump's name on the ballot, not the presumptive VP running mate. No one actually casts a ballot for the VP until nominating convention.

It would be a brokered convention between Haley and Trump's VP pick. If it gets to that point, then its really up in the air.

+1. At this point, if you're voting for a corrupt rapist who tried to overthrow our government, it's because that's what you like.

You're not wrong, but nothing says the convention has to vote for Haley just because she's gathered some delegates. One way or another there will be a MAGA candidate in November.

If he drops dead before the convention it won't matter. Haley could be candidate by acclimation at the convention.

Best case scenario: Haley wins NH, Trump pops a fuse during one of his ketchup rages, and we're all spared 10 months of constant whining.

Then we could have a real election, not a circus designed to fundraise for Trump trials and lifestyle expenses.

Haley swept the midnight primary in Dixville Notch.

I hope she stays in anyway and runs as an independent if Trump is doing well then still. I can live with her as POTUS.

The GOP picking Haley in a brokered convention over a maga candidate would be a good way to ensure a blue wave

Again, immigration/borders is a top concern.
