Well she had to do Miss Colorado first so if there was a problem, it would have stopped then. |
| I can’t believe we still have beauty pageants??? wtf! |
|
^ Oh, and it would be interesting to ask the Miss America officials what they think about their winner violating these Federal government and military laws/ethics?
|
And she did Miss Colorado as “Miss Air Force Academy”. Does AFA sponsor a pageant? |
Just googled and another AFA cadet did pageants in 2019. |
She looks like Paris Hilton.

I am completely lost with half these posts, some I'm not sure if they are anti or pro pageant. I am sure this woman's looks have propelled her far and made her path much easier but she is still very impressive. |
I have a PhD, why would I be jealous of someone who parades around in a bathing suit and high heels? |
Because it sounds like I am paying for all of that training, so I would like her to pick a lane so I can start getting something back from my investment. |
How can she delay her military service payback for this ? |
No, she is unethical and probably a law-breaker. She is exploiting her official capacity as a military servicemember and using it for self-aggrandizement and profit. IMO she is a disgrace to military women everywhere by promoting "pretty" pageants. IMO she should be discharged for violating ethical standards and they should be sure to take her military uniforms away. They aren't for promotional purposes and as a step-up to make yourself personally impressive. That's the antithesis of military service. Anyone who thinks differently needs to go take a drive by Arlington Cemetery and think of those buried there. In their uniforms. Including many women who died in the line of duty. But I'm quite sure the Air Force would try and cover by use the old "it's good for recruiting" bullcrap to try and justify/wiggle out of the fact she is violating Federal ethics laws. |
That particular academy (AFA in Co) is extremely conservative politically so they probably embrace this role for a woman wholeheartedly. |
And why does she need a scholarship if US taxpayers just are in the hook to pay for her graduate degree? |
Another good question. |

The intense hate so many of you have and are willing to express for a 22 year old whose mother died 5 years ago, got a physics degree making the deans list every quarter, won NASA scholarships, and wants to improve cancer treatment is really deplorable. This is why the internet is hell.
I don’t like pageants but I’m a mother and some of you are sick. Seriously disturbed. The ethics questions are legit but there’s no way this wasn’t approved. Football players go pro and delay their clock too. Do you lose your minds over that and call them names? Or do you just save that for attractive young women? |
