Drink water with meals, before you leave for school, intermittently in the halls between classes if needed, when you get home. No one needs to walk around with a giant 40oz water jug everywhere

Strong feelings for something so innocuous. Also, you are wrong. When I taught at a private school one of our inservice days featured a presentation about how important it is for kids to be hydrated and how it affects learning. It’s really disruptive to have kids getting up and asking to get water. Do yes, kids should be carrying around water bottles. I attached a link about the link between cognitive performance and hydration.

Except they aren’t even drinking from
Them. They are simply an accessory to carry around and look cool. Just like when kids ask to go
To the drinking fountain in the middle of class…it isn’t to drink water.

Plus kids have been bringing water bottles to school for years. Nothing new. Carrying one around all day and naming them, that’s something new.

People are going nuts for this crap. It’s the modern day beanie babies!

It was great publicity for Stanley, and they even bought the woman a new car. My take away from that is that the cups are incredibly durable and keep ice cold for hours.

But she didn't survive? Maybe Stanley needs to get in the car business.

Why does a dead woman need a new car?

You got me! Funny.

Cups with straws are terrible. I truly don’t get it. They are huge, ugly, and impractical

And expensive (for what it is). These are the LV Neverfulls of water bottles.

The only Stanley I would get is the OG thermos or green admiral travel mug

I remember the old Stanley thermos. I’m pretty sure they were mostly used by construction workers. Worked outside all day, no refrigeration, thermos could take a beating. Funny how it’s now a thing for school kids. At almost $50, it won’t be a thing for my kids. They actually don’t want one. They think they’re lame because everyone has one. At least I’m doing something right.

I’m glad my kid is not interested. She doesn’t get the craze either. It’s just a cup and a rather big cup. She doesn’t drink that much in school because she doesn’t want to use the school bathroom. LOL!

Kids already seem to be moving on to Owala.

People are saying this on this thread but I’ve never heard of it. They are fairly inexpensive so it surprises me that they are trendy

Get an owala. They'll be ahead of the curve and it's 💯 better.

You can suck and swallow - what's not to love.

I got one for Xmas. I actually love it. Fits nicely in the car cup holder and reminds me to drink water during the day. I’ve had many water bottles, but this one has worked the best for me. I don’t care if it is trendy or not, it’s just a good water bottle!

It holds water. I don’t get how it “works best.”

My 17 year old wanted one for Christmas last year (December 2022).

Yes but now they’re coming out with more and more styles, colors, collaborations (Starbucks), etc.

They’re an awesome mba cash study. 100 yo camping brand that works amazing, an internet influencer Mom group in Utah marketed them to women, partnered w Stanley and here we are.

Camping, moms, teen, tweens.

We have the 30 oz ones for drinking water at home, and the ice breaker/doesn’t leak one for school.

For sports we never use stainless steel on courts.

Do you not have a dishwasher?
