What does it mean to be a masculine man?

White man here. I like to date progressive women. I lose out to the guys you describe all the time. Being a smart, competent, black man in America sucks in a lot of ways, but dating isn't one of them, from what I can see.

If we’re stereotyping, what’s the domestic abuse situation among this masculine demographic?

I am a black man and your description is spot on. I hate to insert people’s race into discussions but in our country race is an integral part of our experience. I have had far more success with Caucasian women than Black women. Caucasian and Hispanic women seem to be more attracted to some my masculine traits. Again it could just about me as an individual. So I don’t want to generalize.

Bullshit. Women are much better leaders than men.

Is it even possible to define masculinity in much of the western world today? There has been a lot of effort to get men to embrace their femininity in the west as a way to combat so called “toxic masculinity”.

This articles mentions toxic masculinity, healthy masculine and positive masculinity. WTF? Lol.

Why are these people trying so hard to define men??? Why don’t we hear similar terms for women. Oh wait women are already perfect. Men just need to be more like them and society will be great! GMFB
