| So the blue dress dancer I assume is Clara? But no Sugar Plum Fairy? |
Where was the queer coding? I must have missed that. This is dance and theatre and jazz/swing. All those things have loads and loads of queerness inherent in them and always have, just not acknowledged, I would suggest. Late in live, I am amazed how many of the authors and such we learned in high school were not straight or cis gender. |
Your opinion carries no more weight than ours. I think they were fabulous! |

+1 loved it! |
Maybe the guy with a giant flower on his head was the Sugar Plum Fairy? I was confused by the Rat King, I thought it was a deer with antlers. The rat king was wearing a dark suit. At the end, the Rat King plays air guitar and collapses in Christmas fueled ecstasy. I believe the owner of the dance company appears briefly in a dark suit and whips a large candy cane around for a few seconds, it seemed odd she had no costume on. Just a regular pant suit. The part where they were tap dancing on carpet was odd- the point of tap is to tap. They were tapping on carpet and it was quiet. |
| Loved it! It's so good to have a first lady who actually likes people again! |
Talent doesn’t equal IQ or intellect or even common sense. If all those artistic talents stopped talking politics and social issues we would enjoy art so much more! |
| Last year I think they did something similar with ballet...two dancers. That was lovely, but this was a fun change. |
+100 Dr. Jill loves people! Except for her ailing husband, and those in law enforcement (looking at you, cheesy Anti-Police Dance Team!) |
| I felt the trees - all white trees that even had white lights - excessively evoked a foreboding, toxic whiteness, which put me very much ill at ease. But that is more on the First Lady than the dance troupe. |
Are you for real? Do you feel foreboding in the toxically white kitchen in your mama's house too? |

This dance was fun and refreshing.
Our diversity is our strength. Some old farts here wanted Fred and Ginger because…. They white. |

I love tap dancing. Didn't love this. It was...... creepy.
Your tax dollars at work, folks!!!! |
Agree - modern and fresh. |
