Let’s discuss the WH Nutcracker Christmas video

Melania Trump v. Jill Biden in a festive face-off

Pollsters J.L. Partners asked 1,000 Americans to pick their favorite from two sets of decorations that have, at various times, been set up in the Cross Hall, a hallway on the first floor of the White House.

The choice was between Melania's 2020 designs and Jill's from this year, but respondents were asked to make their selection blind.

Both Trump and Biden have been criticized and praised in equal measure for their touches around the holidays.

But the reaction is often tainted by which party critics support.

When asked to make the selection purely based on the decorations, the results are surprising.

54 percent of respondents said they preferred Melania’s decorations in one option.

Republicans, perhaps attracted to all that red, liked them the most, with 57 percent of Republicans selecting Trump's to 43 percent who said Biden's.

51 percent of Democrats liked Trump's decor compared to 49 percent who chose Biden.

Americans older than 65 liked Biden's the most. Among that demographic, 53 percent voted for Biden and 47 percent said Trump.

Joe Alder, senior research associate, at J.L. Partners, noted that while it was close, 'the public's verdict was clear: Melania Trump brought the finer Christmas decor to the White House.'

So old people prefer Jill’s decor, makes sense.

Yup.

It's a horror show making fun of Christmas and the Nutcracker. Something only the extremist fringe enjoys.

Well, this may be their truth.

But, it does not need to be our truth.

Can't believe taxpayer dollars were wasted on this.

How do you know it was paid by taxpayer dollars?

Because Jill always paid for everything with tax payers money or with moneys from donors.

As opposed to what? Melania’s nest egg from her stripper days? Gifts from Clarence Thomas’s “friends”?

Honestly, I would have more respect for Jill if she used here earned money (dosn't matter from what job, teaching or stripping) rather than taxpayers money.

The stupid is strong with this one.

This video is Biden's attempt to show Putin how they disrespect Chaikovskiy and Russian culture. This is all that Biden can offer against Putin.

The fact that Biden's would chose Russian composer over any American or African American composer for their Christmas video is nauseating. Any support of Russian culture coming from the White House in 2023 should be illegal. Promoting Chaikovskiy at the time of active war is just Jill's bad taste or pure ignorance.

I like Russian theme for 2023, so symbolic!

Must be.

As pathetic as it sounds, it's the only explanation for such an absurb performf%ck.

Yes, while the entire world turned their back to Russia, Bidens, China and Iran stand by Russia.

I agree.

Why shouldn't zombies, cadavers and apparent serial killers be prevented from celebrating the Christmas spirit?

Anything associated with Trump is horrible!

While, anything Biden-associated is fabulous!!!

Yes, Americans are famously critical of black dancers. "Black people can't dance," they say. All the time. This harmful stereotype must end.
