UNC is lame. I don’t know why NOVA kids want to put that school as their option when there are so many better schools.

this likely goes to everyone. think about it, if they already knew that an applicant was going to get rejected, that would just be additional work for the admissions office to be sorting those out to send the letter, when they would just be rejecting those applicants later anyways. why would they go through the trouble to do that for only the rejections, you know? rather, they send to all as a check the box, 'we got your application' notice and then do the work of going through to determine who's accepted.

I got the letter and DD got in. I took it as a good sign and, well, seemingly it was. Good luck!
