I lost a valuable ring and feel sick over it

I lost my grandmother’s ring the day before my wedding when I took it off to get a manicure. It was not very valuable but carried tremendous significance for me. I still look for it all the time.

I once found my mother’s wedding ring in the kitchen towel drawer, and another time in between a mattress and box springs. In both cases, the fabric pulled her ring off. (She’d been putting away laundry and making a bed.) Her ring was obviously a bit big for her. You might find it, OP. I’d suggest bringing in friends to upend your house, bag, car, etc., for you. Other pairs of eyes might be useful here. Good luck.

2k isn't all that much. Did you have it insured? Your deductible might not make collecting the insurance on it worth it.
