My dog's mom killed her newborn puppy and yet she is a very sweet dog. They didn't put her down and now she is perfectly fine! I do not own her because I have her other puppy whom she bit. He was bigger so wound wasn't serious |
| I think you are being overly dramatic. She knows how to handle her dog. |
DP. Lol. Doesn't sound like it, but ok. |
Lol. No. |
| You don’t feel comfortable around her dog, so decline the invitation. If she starts to notice a pattern in your responses to invitations and raises the issue, then I’d share, but otherwise, all you can really control is yourself and that you only go places that feel safe. |
| Be honest. It’s ok. |
And make sure you realize your friendship will end. |
| Tell her you are nervous around her dog and ask if she’s going to keep him in another room during the party. If she says no, then say you think you’ll skip attending. If that doesn’t make her change her answer and decide to lock him up, then she’s a jerk. And if others ask why your not going after all, be honest and say it’s because of her pit bull not being kept in another room. |
And that will be on the pit bull owner, not OP. Be frank and honest, OP. You will feel liberated! |
| I would just be honest. sorry don’t feel comfortable with your dog given the past history of attacks. and the. don’t engage any further in the subject at all. |
|
You need to inform the entire group that this friend has a dog, which is a pit bull, which is also aggressive and has a history of violent attacks on other animals.
This is a clear safety issue. There is no way in hell I would go if I was aware of the situation. |
|
Dogs really are not worth all this hassle.
Tell your friend to lock up the dog for the duration of the event, as it will be excited by all the strangers in the home. |
| Just don't go if it doesn't feel safe. The end. |
|
I'd fake sick at the last minute and not go. It's the only way out.
Then later, find out from the others how it went/low key see what they thought of the dog. This may be a problem that takes care of itself if others go there and you won't have to go to crazytown with your friends. |
| I wouldn’t go. Even if the dog isn’t dangerous it just sounds annoying. Just decline the invitation |
