My 7th grader wants: Converse Chuck Taylors, hoodies, a Kendra scott necklace, Glow Recipe Fruit babies, Charlotte Tillbury Glow Kit, face masks, and bath bombs.

I sweat I saw the Kendra Scott necklaces are $18 today.
Its a scam. Dig deeper and click on the actual seller. Many people fall for it and end up having to get a new cc.

Kendra Scott frequently has buy one get one free necklaces around this time of year.

Me again - it looks like it's going on now: https://www.kendrascott.com/new-now/trending-now/flash-sale-3/

Skateboard
Dungeons and dragons
Cozy hoodie
New bike helmet that lights up (can they wear the same for skateboarding?)

ISO:
Something baking related
Something musical, maybe a ukelele

My 13yr old has gotten into DnD. What type of things are you buying?

I still need to figure out the specifics but definitely special dice and a dungeon master's guide.

Etsy has some cool dice sets and things to store your dice in. And the various manuals if they already have the players guide and dungeon master guide.

It’s a tall cup with a straw and lid. I have 2, honestly, they’re amazing. My water intake went up a ton after I got one. It keeps your water and ice cold for 12+ hours. My 10 yo asked for one too so we got her a 20oz one at REI (normal size is 40oz)

If my tween wants a $50 water bottle, she's buying it herself. The insanity.

I initially felt that way but decent water bottles are worth it if they won’t lose it. I got ours 40 % off o sale. Even the cheaper bottles are usually 10-15 and if they break in a year or the stuff is degrading into the water, you’re better off with the expensive ones. My kid has had her hydroflask for about 5 years now and it’s as good as ever.

I would love to get tickets but my teens schedules are so crazy — every time I try to plan something, one of them has a tournament added to the schedule or a friend is having a birthday party they can’t miss or something. Broadway tickets are the only thing I’ve thought pf this year and I am so nervous about picking a date. Wish they were more easily exchanged.

I think we are too lax about letting our girls buy makeup whenever they want it….they have nothing on their lists. (Neither is a clothes hound but man do they spend at ultra and Sephora.).

Ok? It’s Christmas, it’s actually the perfect time to put a $50 water bottle on your list but in any case, it sounds like your kid didn’t ask for one so who cares. Input on the gift ideas wasn’t sought.

Let me guess:
Something to wear—underwear
Something they need—socks
Something to read—a newspaper
Something they want—a glass of water

Where are you all buying hoodies for teen boys? Mine wants more fashion forward stuff. Found some he likes on a site called Overtime but looking for other similar sources.

He sounds amazing.

Weird comment! Why is this 12yo more ‘amazing’ than another 12yo DS who wants something like sneakers or dice for D&D?

Eh, they last forever and teen in HS uses for sports practice six days per week and uses a smaller one for school five days per week. She has been using the same one for about four years now.

Why is he more amazing than the tween that asks for sneakers or D&D stuff? I need to explain this? One kid has unusual, mature and impecable taste. The other is just run of the mill and basic. I like creative types. You like basic. That’s okay, too.

Anonymous wrote:Lots of great ideas for my younger teen on here. Would love to hear more re: what older teens want. Mine has no ideas!

PS - Agree that Experience gifts are terrific for any age.

What age? What gender?

I rolled my eyes at that “he’s amazing!” comment too.
