Axelrod Biden should drop out of 2024

I think it's rich that people are concerned about Biden's mental health, when Trump didn't realize he wasn't President in 2021. On the stand, testifying today.

Just imagine how demented Trump will be in 2024, a year from now. Not looking good at all.

Put Biden on the stand. See how that goes.

Biden was portrayed on snl stating he fights off the grim reaper every day.

He’s extremely frail and sounds delusional and weak. Everyone knows it.

Lots of big big checks for white folks and very little for the black community that put him into office.

Such an ironic statement. Under Biden:

GDP is stronger
Unemployment is lower
Net Job Growth is higher
More manufacturing jobs
Net jobs being returned to the US

So if you thought the economy was strong under Trump, then, based on facts, you should be screaming from the rafters how great things are now.

And yet, you let your partisan glasses cloud your brain of actual facts.

Two years of high inflation without corresponding inflation in salaries makes GDP look great. Meanwhile, everything is harder to afford. Adjusted for purchasing power, household income peaked in 2019 and has been on the way down ever since

I guess you forgot about the record low unemployment rate for people of color, the highest new business rate for people of color, the highest rate of judicial appointments of people of color, record money for HCBU's etc.

Three pages and this seems to be the only comment on Biden's diminished mental capacity. Anyone with the misfortune of having a parent in this situation knows this only gets worse. While he is sometimes mentally sharp, he is just as likely to be incoherent and shuffling about like an old man. Why are Democrats afraid to state the obvious. No chance he can serve another full term? Bring on Newsome or someone else.

I would counter by asking why Republicans are afraid to acknowledge that Trump has in the past and is currently also showing signs of cognitive decline. There are tons of recent examples of him talking on camera and being incoherent or confused about where he is. Perhaps you haven't seen them if you only follow Fox or Newsmax, but I can assure you that they are real. Granted, Trump doesn't look as frail as Biden (probably because fatter old people just don't look as frail as thinner old people), but given that both are bound to have some defects due to age, most sane people are going to go with the guy who has more experience (Biden is probably the most experienced president we've ever had)--and who isn't actively undermining the constitution.

Easy, there! I am not making a case for Trump. I agree he is also in decline. You are throwing Fox News, fat people and everything else as a response. The point I am making is that no one is addressing the elephant in the room and that is that Biden, while once sharp and competent, is np longer is sharp and competent. Saying that he is better than the other senile guy is a poor argument. Biden needs to step aside or be pushed out of the way. Why is everyone walking on eggshells and being defensive about this?

I could’ve written this. ^

Biden clearly doesn’t have the awareness to step aside, which is very unfortunate.

I hate Trump, too, but his mental condition does not make Biden any younger, healthier, or more likely to survive another four-year term as president.

Remember back in the 90s when we had real presidents? What happened to make the RNC and DNC so inept?

He would need to be indicted for a crime first, and since he hasn't committed any, there would be no reason to call him to any court stand.

The vast majority of Americans say Biden is too old to be president. It's nothing personal. Most people would like to be old one day. We can all see that Biden today is not nearly as cognitively sharp as when he was VP during the Obama years. That's life. Most 80-something people are not fit to do mentally or physically taxing jobs. There is a near universal consensus that people in their 80s shouldn't be president. Why democrats in the White House and Congress refuse to face up to basic common sense is mystifying. They seem to think that because Trump is Trump, reelection is guaranteed. But every poll is screaming otherwise. Biden is going to lose. People are not voting for Weekend at Bernies. The arrogance and presumption of democrats today is breathtaking.

I think PP was saying Trump is diminished. Only yesterday he said on the witness stand that he was busy as president in 2021.

Biden is fine. You don’t see Trump shuffling because Fox doesn’t show it. You probably aren’t paying attention to Trumps posts on Truth. He has lost it. At least Biden is coherent.

Biden's the nominee. Get your head around it. Stop fretting and get in the fight. Do your part to make Republicans and Trump lose.

I agree. Biden has really messed up with his response to Israel and there is no way to come back from it. That situation will only get worst. Ideally the republicans impeach, remove him from office and bar him from running/serving again. That would rally the democrats but remove Biden from the ticket.

Biden has not messed up the response to israel. The far left of the Democratic Party has lost its mind.

Oh yes he has. He lost 14% in the polls after his Israel trip. Another candidate could steer the party is away from Israel to a more favorable position with the American people.

Election is a year away and all sorts of things can happen to change polls. After 2016 and 2022 polls. I really can't take polls seriously
anymore.
