I believe that the fact that she's completely shifted to a law and order campaign to try and displace JLG wasn't something that she came up with all on her own. It's like a completely different person running.

Who cares. Wouldnt you rather be represented by someone who is willing to listen to her constituents' concerns? JLG is hard left activist who is never, ever, ever going to support any crack down on crime, no matter how bad it gets and no matter how much her ward pleas with her to change.

With supporting those no jail, no consequence stances. I mean what could go wrong? Just ask one ward over in ward 5, Bloomingdale. You think Russell Dunkley is a one off? You’re ok with hard core drug users who habitually sexually assault people and masterbate repeatedly in public and punch and kick people in the head when they don’t immediately give him money on demand so he can buy MORE drugs in the open air drug market down the street? No big deal. No jails. Who cares!

I'm in her ward and am not pleading for her to change. I support her stances. I have a feeling there are more of us than you may believe. I particularly think the bolded is hyperbole and not a particularly intelligent opinion.

With supporting those no jail, no consequence stances. I mean what could go wrong? Just ask one ward over in ward 5, Bloomingdale. You think Russell Dunkley is a one off? You’re ok with hard core drug users who habitually sexually assault people and masterbate repeatedly in public and punch and kick people in the head when they don’t immediately give him money on demand so he can buy MORE drugs in the open air drug market down the street? No big deal. No jails. Who cares!

I appreciate your passion but I disagree with your representation of my beliefs. Our votes count the same though, so it's okay to have differing viewpoints.

But that’s because people here are paying attention to what Councilmembers do; most D.C. voters are extremely ignorant and disinterested when it comes to local politics.
