Most disliked local politician, according to DCUM?

Frumin is shooting up charts like bullet.

(Which he would call an incident.)

"People" don't - which is to say, the voters don't. The haters do, because she's an outspoken Asian-American woman with progressive political beliefs. It checks all of the haters' boxes.

Not quite.

She viciously attacked the police, calling them “thugs” and “goons.” She repeatedly called for policing to be abolished. Not defunded. Abolished. And this brutal attack on MCPD wasn’t because of anything they actually did. The department is now 20% down and can’t hire, and that is partially because of the hostile work environment she helped create with her spewing hatred.

She is now on the public safety committee. Really? Biased much?

Some of us like our politicians to be a little more mature and reasonable.

Yep, there she is, checking all of your hater boxes. But you're not the one to decide. The voters decide.

Nobody cares about her race. That's just gaslighting.

You're using that term incorrectly.

I’ll be surprised if she’s re-elected. Very. She is not trusted outside her little super-progressive, closed circle of supporters.

And if I’m a “hater” for calling somebody out for poor behavior, then so be it. I believe politicians are accountable to the public. That includes me. That includes, ironically, the police that she clearly and openly disdains.

You: hating anonymously in the internet.
Her: going out and doing actual things.

Another vote for Allen.

Don’t follow NoVa politics that much, but there seems to be no love lost for Justin Wilson or Buta Biberaj.

Point me to something she has done, please, other than insulting huge swaths of people in her role on the council. (Let’s not forget the Muslims aligning with white supremacists statement, too. Or calling a police commander directly to get her tire fixed.) Seems to me that what she does best is cause controversy. That’s not getting the right things done.

If you want to defend Mink, then why don’t you tell us why we should be impressed. Point out her positives instead of saying “there’s more Mink hate.” That’s not very convincing, at all, and it suggests there really isn’t anything to like if you can’t articulate it.

And incidentally, I’d happily say any of this in public, and have. All of my statements can easily be backed up with proof from her social media feed or council videos.

Yet, Allen will get re-elected in a landslide if he runs. Go figure.

I'd say he has a far better chance of getting recalled than winning his next election in a landslide.

Charles Allen, but Muriel ("Developers' __") Bowser is a close second.

All politics is local so for me it is catch and release CA Descano who does everything he can to make the streets less safe. He would be tied with the entire FCPS school board who are collectively working to dumb down a generation of kids in the name of equity.

Yes, bc despite what the people of DCUM think, the world doesn't revolve around them and their opinions.

The voters fired Elissa Silverman. They can do the same with Allen.
