Love is Blind Season 5

He is thoroughly unappealing. I didn't like her at first, but she grew on me.

He comes across better later on. I'm sick in bed, binging the new eps. He and Aliyah meet up to talk in Ep 7. All I will say is Lydia is a psycho!

He is very rational and often says the right thing but there is a coldness to him I find off-putting.

You can't bully her into coming back to the show and get engaged to you Uche. Yuck to him.

Lydia threw salt in the game and Aaliyah fell for it. I mean she should ditch Uche anyway but not because Lydia got in her head.

Even worse. Are you on episode 7 yet?

Interesting twists in Ep 7? Hoping some of them are just for show.

Just got to the vacation episode.

JP is so boring. A firefighter? Does that pay the bills? Poor Taylor.
Stacy and Izzy are a good match. They remind me of a frat/sorority couple.

It's weird there are so few couples. There are usually too many couples who get engaged and they don't all make the show. I predict only Stacy and Izzy will get married.

1. Is Uche wearing a wig?
2. Is JP m.a.g.a?

I suspect yes to both.

I am deeply concerned Lydia and Johnie are both Grade A psychos.

If any of these people get married, it will be a travesty.

This is the worst season ever. Such an unlikable bunch, with the exception of Chris. Who is apparently quite dumb.

It's Texas so I assume they are mostly MAGA or moderate

Uche is such a tool. I am no fan of Lydia, but did he really expect her to sit there and let him rehash their entire relationship, make her look like a fool, and then lead up to a dramatic accusation that she followed him onto the show? Come on now. This is not the Uche show.

And Stacy turned out to be dramatic after all. Oh I’m so fun and breezy…except when it comes to dishes and a junk drawer. That lost and found was not the big deal she made it out to be. I hope they all say no.

And Taylor dodged a bullet. She was 100% right that the makeup was an excuse. He saw her in full glam once. What was his excuse for literally not speaking the other three days?

Well I am no fan of Uche but Lydia is PSYCHO! A love bomber who stalked his female friends' Insta Stories then *somehow* ended up on the same dating show?? She's certifiable.

Lydia - Sometimes she just seems needy, other times scarily insecure. I'm glad Aaliyah used the word smothering. Her family seems to really love her though which is always nice.

Milton - Maybe his chill vibe is a good balance to Lydia?

Uche - The way he talks down to all the women! Talk about mansplaining - this is what you did, this is how you made it all about you, what about me? Ugh.

Aaliyah - Please, let him go and don't look back! I worry that she still wants him.

JP - No game, can't communicate. On paper a firefighter and kindergarten teacher seem like a good match - imagine their combined pensions!

Taylor - I liked her more later than in the beginning and agree she looks better with less make-up. I think she just needs to mature. She just doesn't have the relationship skills needed right now (nor does JP).

Stacy - Two Benz - whoa! Is this how families with money think? That whole junk drawer things was weird but I guess everything is up for interpretation and fraught in the beginning of a relationship. Flashbacks to the cuties?

Izzy - He seems a bit anxious that he's not going to measure up for Stacy and her family but tries to put on a good front. Guessing he's not as good with money as he says he is.

Johnie - Not sure why Izzy felt like he had to look out for Chris as it seems Chris has gone into this relationship with Johnie with his eyes open. I wonder what the editing is leaving out though as he's heard "things" plural.

Chris - No interview with Chris? Need more info.

It's hard to feel invested in a season when not a single couple.is likeable, but hey, maybe that speaks to the "realness" of the show?

Uche is a total grade A dick-- controlling, mansplaining, POS. I worry that Aaliyah likes him.and wants to be engaged with him-- is she prone to being with abusers?

I think JP was feeling incredibly awkward and just couldn't relax and did indeed use her make-up as an incredibly lame excuse when under pressure to explain his distance. I think he really did like her, and was terrified she was going to leave and just couldn't figure out what to do. I think Taylor was actually very poised and mature.

Yeah, so Lydia is crazy, but I also think she is into Milton. I think she might be into him because she just really wants to be with someone, and he was willing, but I don't hate them together. He basically admitted that he wants that loud, close, warm vibe she has with her family. I think they could possibly work?

I was generally liking Izzy until he needlessly destroyed Johnie. I think he was trying to learn from past seasons when former flames said things they shouldn't have, and he went in the opposite direction and tore her apart, but it was mean.

I don't like Stacy. People think she's pretty? Those weird eyebrows and stage make up and no curves? Nah. That choker necklace doesn't help, either. Whatever, though, I don't care what she looks like, I care more that she lacks any introspection and is so surface level. I actually think Izzy wanted a deeper connection, but is just so happy to have someone love him that he's rolling with it. Izzy is totally in over his head and feeling insecure financially. I don't think they're a great fit emotionally or lifestyle-wise.
