Love is Blind Season 5

I didn't like how cruel he was to Aaliyah about her cheating either. You can totally have grown and changed in two years. And I say this being someone who's never cheated and would never tolerate cheating.

She’s manipulating the feck out n of Milton, feel bad for him.

Yeah it's giving Jackie and Marshall vibes.

Except Milton is even younger and more sheltered than Marshall.

DP. And he cheated too! Kissed someone else but it was different because he was 18…

PJ - earnest - this one could work
Stacy - lacks depth
Milton - not as mature as he wants to think he is
Johnnie - desperately wants to be a pulled together person but isn't and lies when she panics
Uche - doubt he's good at compromise, but sounds rich
Chris - seems wholesome and sweet
Aaliyah - also seems wholesome and sweet, think she is smarter than she comes across
Izzy - does nothing for me

Spot on for me +1

- Lydia seemed ok at first but yes, the "We're the same person" to Aaliyah and way TMI; the fact that she has been "all in" with Uche, Izzy, now Milton...flags for sure.
- Milton: How many times did he bring up his microscope? Seems like he might be on the spectrum. I like him though!
- Izzy: Not as charismatic as he thinks he is?
- Uche: Definitely some rigidity, black and white thinking, and control issues
- Johnie: Flip-flopping but I can see how that can happen when you're intensely dating several people at once. I thought that if Chris was willing to take a chance, it might have worked out. I could see them together. I was surprised her baggage scared off Izzy so easily.
- Stacey: Some Jackie/Raven vibes in terms of not being introspective at all.
- Taylor: She reminds me so much of Micah from LIB 4!
- PJ: Seems pretty earnest; firefighter/teacher seems like a good match at first on paper
- Chris: Seems like a normal guy though I'm not sure if giant games of Celebrity with his relatives is a selling point

Totally agree about Taylor/Micah!

I disagree that Johnnie and Chris would have worked out if he gave it a chance. Sounds like she gave the guy she married a chance and that she never loved him. Same thing would have happened with Chris. But I do hope he finds love I felt so sad for him that he shared that he was sexually assaulted and then got ditched two days later.

Yes, Chris seems lovely and a good catch. Way too good for the likes of Johnie.

Poster whom you're replying to. You may be right - it may have turned out to be a bad match. But I do wonder about the general "I need to be chosen first since the beginning and you can never have doubted or made a mistake" mindset. Would you rather have your pride or have a relationship? Zach and Bliss being exhibit A. I also wonder about gender dynamics and if women are more willing to put their ego aside.

But not being the first choice wasn't the only basis for his decision. She was deceptive in her relationship narrative and also had made it clear that it never worked with guys likes him.

It's true that her narrative changed to rationalize whatever choice she was making, but don't we all do that? At first Chris seeming like the safe choice felt too boring/predictable and she craved the excitement of possibly being with Izzy. Then after Izzy rejectec her, she saw that maybe the fact that she could see how their lives would turn out might be a good thing.

No, she told the men two very different stories.

As usual, I think all the couples are doomed. But what do I know? Some of the couple I thought were the worst in past seasons are shockingly still together.

Why? Not a lot of depth but seems level-headed and nice enough. Low drama.
