A lot of these girls knew what they were signing up for. It’s like a waiter in a strip club offended that there are naked people around.

I bet 80% is jealousy that they are not the chosen ones and BFFs with L.
20% is probably legitimate, and their lawyers convinced them to put it all out there.

Good luck to them!!

That's not how consent works.

Imagine if a male performer did this to a female who worked for him!

“ Afterward, the “Good as Hell” singer allegedly “badgered a member of her security team to get on stage where she pulled down his pants and hit him with whips, yelling ‘Take it off!'”

I agree in part, and disagree in part. Lizzo is PHAMOUS and probably expects to have a rock n roll lifestyle with a crazy entourage. She just didn't realize she couldn't draft her staff into being an entourage. I doubt she's an evil person, probably just a run of the mill narcissist.

-Weren't smart enough to negotiate a retainer fee to be paid a partial salary while still employed by the tour but not performing. Got upset when they found out others had negotiated this retainer fee. Eventually negotiated 50% of their pay as a retainer fee but are still upset.

-Believe 2 weeks' notice that they'd be needed to dance on the tour wasn't ample time.

-Someone in charge talked about Jesus too much.

-Disclosed sensitive medical information to a doctor and via form even though the form said the info would be distributed to those deemed as needing to know and then got mad when that info was disclosed.

-Upset that girls who accepted invitations to hang out with Lizzo after shows and during downtime were selected to dance at shows more often than those who did not participate. Shocker. Being personable & forming a relationship with someone and having that lead to more opportunities? Who'da thunk it!?

-Not being strong enough to withstand peer pressure to touch some boobs.

-Being a prude virgin who was uncomfortable with Lizzo going to a backroom with her boyfriend. Like WTAF?

-Shocked that the European managers were fat-phobic and racist. Like babes, of course. Read a history book.

-Again, not having enough self-preservation and personal strength to take a bathroom break which caused one woman to soil herself. Upset that the only other change of clothes available were the suggestive see-thru dance costumes.

-Upset they had to reaudition for their spots because Lizzo said they had become lazy and complacent.

-During a private meeting with Lizzo & her choreographer in which they asked the dancer if everything was fine because she didn't seem as happy on tour as she was in the beginning, she disclosed medical information re: her mental health with them. When Lizzo & the choreo offered her time off from rehearsals to attend therapy, she declined because she was afraid it'd make her seem weak. Was fired 5 days later.

-Illegally recorded a conversation w/ Lizzo without permission. Did so under the guise of having a medical condition that causes her to become disoriented in stressful situations. She says she likes to record stressful situations to review them later. She admitted to making the recording & told Lizzo & the team it was deleted. She was fired on the spot. Consented to a physical search of her phone to prove the recording was deleted.

-3rd dancer quit in solidarity with the one above.

I had to tap out. I made it to page 30 but I have to go pick up a kid from practice.

Pretty much a big ol' nothing-burger, IMO.

The one person who has an actual claim isn't listed as part of the suit. This would be a bodyguard who got up on stage in Amsterdam & had his pants pulled down.

If it’s being a snowflake to not want to be pressured into eating a banana that had been inside a stripper’s vagina…I’m Team Snowflake.

God, yes.

Team snowflake. Nasty.

But she doesn't. Her pwrsona is a musical Oprah. If this were Cardi B, no one would care.

Soooo not surprised.

Why is no one outraged by this?

Having been around Lizzo once IRL, I could believe there’s truth here.

She’s a lot.

I think she's a dummy, and young. But in her favor, she has listened and changed and addressed/fixed problems that she has created.

Maybe she'll do that here too.

I think she's surrounded herself on purpose with people who won't tell her things she doesn't want to hear. That's bad for business.

Sorry, but no. I don't think Oprah promotes banana tricks.

Lizzo gives me Ellen/Katie Couric vibes. One face to the public, another to people she works with or have less power than she does.

She's effing gross, period. Ever since I saw her embarrassing antics when playing that centuries old flute on loan from the Library of Congress I have found her and her act incredibly offputting. She has zero class, enjoy cancelation.
