It should be her time from Divisionals.

It's not and doesn't seem to be for several others on her team

It’s the times that went into the system from the divisional meet.

Which division?

Which are checked over by several people. And even after that her coach or a coach on another division team would likely notice. I’m not buying this.

Division 5 was well run and efficient. The cool down pool was appreciated by my swimmer.

That’s the way it works for all divisions.

Is this for NVSL? The only way to qualify for all stars is off of divisional swim times. Look at the divisional results on mynvsl. I’m sure it matches what her all star seed time is. If the divisional results are wrongful, say something now bc someone will figure it out. If you aren’t an NVSL pool and are talking about some other all star meet, get out of the thread

If that’s accurate it wasn’t a DQ. If it was before “take your marks” they can’t be set and therefore can’t false start. Which division was this?

Correct. This is not a DQ. (And there is a clear scenario that addresses this fact pattern in the NVSL ref/starter training, so it’s hard to imagine anyone not knowing the rule.)

Ours didn't have an hours long line, but it was consistently busy and was definitely overpriced. Under prepared, too, since they seemed surprised to be so busy and by mid way through IMs they were already out of a decent number of items/sizes. The meet itself was well run, IMO, and only a bit behind the anticipated schedule. Plus my kid dropped time and was happy with her performance (especially since she hadn't even expected to swim Divisionals this year) so I give a thumbs up to the host pool and the experience as a whole.

Ours didn't even have t-shirts ("the vendor fell through").

Division 13?

It was probably the best run divisionals that I have attended. Great food, cute t-shirt, no lines, lots of parking and space inside to sit. Thank you to any Rolling Hills parents reading this post! I hope we are in your division forever!

RH was my son’s first A meet and it was such a nice pool. I love the tables on the lawn. The announcers are awesome! I heard someone ask “do they hire pros?”

The title is divisionals. I didnt realize you needed to submit your Virginia tax return to participate.

WTF???? NP here, but NVSL isn’t the only league in the area you know. MCSL also held divisionals yesterday and nothing in the title or OP suggested that this thread was exclusive to NVSL, which apparently is full of crazy parents like you who think they are situated at the center of the universe.

PP is just a self-involved a-hole.

CSL also had their Divisionals, and that's a Virginia swim league.

Because NVSL is the only summer swim league with Divisionals? You are the epitome of why people think the NVSL parents are insufferable a-holes.

Loved the changing cabanas for the swimmers- nice to have if you didn’t lug your own. Lots of shaded spectator seating. Nice signage. They put a lot of effort into it and it showed. Thank you Pinecrest!

Another Div 6 parent. Agree, it went really well. The t-shirt vendor was good, although pricey. Picked the color, design and was done in 5-7 minutes top from the time I got to the front to paying. Much better operation than PVS 12&U champs.

Only concern is how shallow the diving end for 50/100. We were told at some points it was only 2 1/2 to 3 feet.

This was a great trial for All-Stars next year.

Thank you thank you!! I was very involved in the Pinecrest planning committee (was onsite from 530am until we finished cleaning up around 2)! and was so involved with concessions, I don't know if I really noticed what else was going on!

But oh goodness -- All Stars??

That’s what we were told by our Team Reps.
