I heard the stroke and turn was making calls against a specific team. Is that true?

D10 t-shirt vendor was a complete disaster. Don’t know if this was an NVSL decision, but it was a mess … long lines, no kids sizes (even at 8am), and why on earth do custom printing instead of the usual pre-printed shirts.

Must not have been an NVSL decision. Div 9 preordered shirts and picked them up from team reps. Easy peasy.

The rest of the meet was really well run, but the shirts were a mess.

MCSL parent here...what's a changing cabana? I have never seen this at meets in my 8 years of being a swim parent.

A changing cabana is basically a really tall narrow tent that a swimmer can stand in to change. A lot of kids choose to suit up at bigger meets and can use the tent to change into their racing suit and out of it before and between races

Assuming we are talking about D3, where the official was removed I absolutely disagree that it was against a specific team. Although one team did appear to be the most vocally challenging the decisions.

Thanks, that makes sense. I'm just surprised I haven't seen it before-- though maybe it is at the division A/B levels? Plenty of kids in tech suits at divisionals yesterday, but they didn't change.

Another Div 6 parent. Agree, it went really well. The t-shirt vendor was good, although pricey. Picked the color, design and was done in 5-7 minutes top from the time I got to the front to paying. Much better operation than PVS 12&U champs.

Only concern is how shallow the diving end for 50/100. We were told at some points it was only 2 1/2 to 3 feet.

This was a great trial for All-Stars next year.

Ours didn't have an hours long line, but it was consistently busy and was definitely overpriced. Under prepared, too, since they seemed surprised to be so busy and by mid way through IMs they were already out of a decent number of items/sizes. The meet itself was well run, IMO, and only a bit behind the anticipated schedule. Plus my kid dropped time and was happy with her performance (especially since she hadn't even expected to swim Divisionals this year) so I give a thumbs up to the host pool and the experience as a whole.

Ours didn't even have t-shirts ("the vendor fell through").

D2 meet seemed to run well. No drama that I am aware of. Plenty of nearby parking. Non-custom (and nice) tee shirts for $20. Not much shade for spectators but good views without being packed in. Thanks Little Rocky Run for hosting.

Almost wish we stuck around for that but we left after backstroke. Some parents mentioned there were a lot of DQs during breast, including two swimmers false starting at the same time but I didn’t hear about the official being removed.
