Make sure that you create a poster of yourself visiting the establishment and make sure that every parent knows that you enjoy visiting them so that they can judge you as a bad parent.

A lot of you are missing the point that I am not a teacher or a public figure. Would you want children at the elementary school in your community being taught by someone who lacks moral compass?

You are missing the point. You are the parent and should be held to higher standards than the teacher.

The teacher has not done anything wrong unless she has started stripping in class. You are the one doing something wrong.

How am I doing something wrong for wanting to report a teacher for offensive behavior?

You are trying to get a teacher in trouble for something she is doing during her own free time. What she is going is not illegal. That is you doing something wrong.

Good for her. You know because you went and saw her there? Hope you tipped well.

Honey I'm a DCPS teacher and I'm sure our morals don't align. I'll still do a great job teaching your children.

Someone’s morals and values play a major role in how they shape their views. This directly impacts the way that teachers deliver instruction.

Sounds like homeschooling is right for you. Enjoy!

I’m a taxpayer and I’m allowed to use the city’s public schools. You cannot dictate the kinds of views that I believe should be bestowed upon my children.

I’ve posted upthread and I am also a teacher. OP’s hypocrisy is aggravating. The teacher has to be the best version of human, but the OP herself (a parent, no less) can be far less moral.

OP, worry about your own moral compass. You are a too judgmental. I’d hate for your children to adopt that trait!

I wish I knew which school this teacher worked at. I would support the OP and lodge a complaint against the teacher.

And nothing would happen because the teacher hasn’t done anything wrong.

I don’t believe that it’s your place as a teacher to insult the method in which someone is parenting. Teachers should not have taken on the role if they cannot meet the expectations for the position. That’s the only aggravating thing about this whole ordeal.

If the principal fails to address parent concerns, it will surely be escalated to the instructional sup.

No.

How does this have any impact on her ability to teach?
Kids will never encounter her there, so it won't impact their view of her.
She's working, so she hasn't been seen under the influence or anything.
This is likely a summer job, so she will be there for the kids during the school year with all her energy.
Honestly she sounds very cool and open minded, and I bet she makes a ton of money.
Sexy jobs are not a crime! It's usually a good idea to have a hobby/side job that is completely different than your main job. I wonder if her role as a teacher feels sometimes too PG... So, because she is a grown woman, she has this side job to stay in touch with her adult self.

And I agree with people who say it's much trashier to actually go there as a patron... Patrons are drunk and ogling. The server was likely completely sober, and respectful of everyone there.

My advice to the OP is to go ahead and notify the principal. I would recommend going back to that establishment and collect photos of the teach working. I would also suggest that you record someone conversations so that you can use it as evidence against the teacher.

(I'm also a former teacher. In our downtime, we really let loose -- lots of teachers sleeping with each other, very raunchy conversation. When you are keeping it buttoned up for children all day, you need some kind of appropriate adult release. I actually had a former colleague, male, who worked as a bouncer at a strip club. So this teacher makes total sense to me, and I think OP is a hypocrite and trouble maker.)

Thank goodness you both aren’t around children anymore.

Or maybe you realize that if you homeschooled, you'd have to think of yourself as a teacher and hold yourself to the standards you're trying to impose on this other person. You don't want to give up your gentlemen's club trips so you won't teach your kid yourself. Shame.

Newsflash: teachers are human adults who know about sex. We never, ever bring that energy to the classroom. It does, however, exist in the outside world.

I’m sorry but teachers know what they’re getting into before they sign the contract. If they didn’t want to be held to a moral standard which is perfectly reasonable, they should have chose a different occupation. Lets stop normalizing offensive behavior.
