Meeting new people and wish there was a MAGA or J6 code word

I just wish there was a way to distinguish normal D's from dangerous loonies who really are in no way Democrats. Real D's would be ashamed to be associated with the riot brigade, the teacher unions that closed public schools for two years and the neocons chasing non-stop war. I used to be one. This is not a Democrat WH. It is a nut collection through and through.

Troll alert!

+1. I’m Larla and I am a she/her. What are your preferred pronouns?

Watch their expression closely.

Done.

I 1000% agree (OP here). Before Trump, I rarely talked politics with anyone. People could have various reasons for supporting presidential candidates. Mitt with universal health care in Mass. McCain's experience as military and as a US Senator. I really didn't care and didn't judge because they had different POVs. Now? if you support a R and don't denounce Trump? you are a simpleminded fool who cannot be reasoned with. I pity you.

This post speaks volumes about the mindset of liberals.

You claim to have rarely talked politics with anyone pre-Trump. OK.
Now, seems political leaning is the ONLY thing that drives your relationships and friendships. So, post-Trump, you seem to feel the need to query anyone about their political leaning.
And, you seem to blame Trump for your bigotry.
Maybe you need to look inward as to why you are unable to civilly discuss issues.

What does J6 mean to you?
* omg I can’t believe our democracy was attacked!
* omg I can’t believe our race was stolen!
* eh, idk. Post Christmas cleaning?

Forget Jan. 6. Ask them what they think about trans issues.

Personally, anyone who subscribes to that religious nonsense “trans women are women” isn’t welcome in my life. But anyone who thinks trans people need to be denied jobs/housing isn’t welcome in my life either. I don’t want to spend any time with far left nut jobs or far right nut jobs.

I’ve found trans issues to be the easiest way to sort the far left and far right from moderates and non-ideologues I can reason with and enjoy.

You sound as if you’re all the way on the far left, so trans issues can also be your way of sorting out the far left liberals who subscribe to your views from everyone else who doesn’t.

What is your solution to teachers who might be caring for elderly parents at home and the vaccine not being cleared for their students?

And sure, let's also completely ignore the fact that contact tracing data showed that schools were one of the top places where covid was found to be spreading, and that in the early days there were teachers dying from covid as a result.

There she is again. Ask where they stand on trans issues, and if she compares them to serial killers or says gays and transpeople hate women, or that transwomen are predators and rapists then you know she belongs in a mental health ward.

Um, you don’t sound well. Maybe you, yourself, should consider a stay in a mental health ward?

So now we can also add gaslighting to your anti-trans derangement.

Anonymous wrote:I have found (and this goes further back than Trump - all the way the Reagan) that when anyone has ever told me they were not political, it turned out they voted very conservatively and didn’t care about social issues just taxes. Most have come around, but most voted for Trump the first time. All basically voted for lower taxes and did not care about the rest.

So, if anyone says, “I’m not political”, it could be a sign.

Interesting, I’ve found it true about people who aren’t born Americans, who just want to live life and pay as little tax as possible and invest in their kids’ well being. So yes they aren’t political I guess. They also don’t support progressive causes though

Bingo

You need a new word to post. You've worn this one out.

Anonymous wrote:You wear the dress that says "Tax the rich" on one side, and "unless it is Hunter Biden" on another. This will sort things out on its own. Or you can wear a "ban the guns" shirt, but make sure there is a disclosure "unless it is Hunter Biden".

Dems don't think lawbreakers should get away with anything, including Hunter. Now show us your shocked Pikachu face.

I’ve found masks (in 2023) to be a pretty good indicator the person is progressive/liberal/far left leaning. Also, I don’t ask this of course, but if their child is vaccinated they are most likely progressive (though I know an exception but they are first Gen Americans).

Life is too short to spend time talking about politics. Go do something productive outside. I’ll bet you’ll find out politics isn’t all that important and liberals and conservatives aren’t as far apart as you are being indoctrinated into believing.

Not when you’re voting for people who are trying to stifle my right to vote and my body autonomy.

Goodness, the absolute privilege of your post, PP.

[Black woman]

In my opinion it is Democrats who are doing that.
