I don’t eat a lot of sugar generally but I adore jelly beans. I ate almost a whole bag (I’m not proud, but it happened) in a day earlier in the month. The arthritis in my knees and hands was terrible the next day!

I haven’t noticed any other food related issues, but like I said, I don’t eat a lot of sugar.

It was likely due to the erratic weather this month. Low barometric pressure is well known to exacerbate joint pain.

Also sugar is hidden in many things
To cut sugar, avoid white bread, white pasta, carrots, corn, etc.
whole grains, fish, etc go Mediterranean diet

Yes, you couldn’t possibly know more about your body than this random person online.

Docs miss so much. A food journal/elimination diet is often a key piece in sorting out autoimmune issues. Keep tracking your food. It’s excellent for checking in.

How refreshing that even Harvard has come onboard with the real science. At some point, we’ll all see how deeply we’ve been indoctrinated by the pharmaceutical industry. Pharma advertising is relentless. They spend more than any other industry that I’m aware of.

I assume you mean "alkaline" food. However, lemon water is acidic - the very opposite of alkaline. A basic chemistry class could help you out.

How do you know this “cleared inflammation from your body”? What metric/test are you using to quantify your “bodily inflammation”?
my joint pain goes away when I follow a similar diet

Just because you read something weird on the internet does not make it true. There is no such thing as "alkalizing the body". That's not a thing, and drinking acid certainly won't make it happen.

Appendicitis
Tonsillitis
Bronchitis

“-itis” refers to inflammation.

+1. Though I do wish people would understand the wisdom in the middle ground between “I ate a *whole bag* of jelly beans and it had a negative impact on my body” and “never take ibuprofen or heed medical advice; all you need is this Tahitian noni juice and a food diary.”

Except this is wrong. They always lump red and processed meat together. Red meat does not cause inflammation. In fact, it’s the least inflammatory thing you can eat. Go ahead and eat only red meat for a month and watch your hscrp always drop.
