OP, your issue was that someone else said she embraced a commonly insulted feature of her body? And you feel insulted because you don't have the same commonly insulted feature to learn to accept? Maybe sit with that for a minute. |
are you drunk? You are incoherent. |
No offense, but I don’t think anyone actually thinks you are skinny. I’m 5’9” and am 140. I’m thin, but not skinny. You are definitely not anywhere near skinny. People are maybe just being nice and calling you skinny. |
This “look” is only populate in lower class cultures in the US. Upper class people might have a physical relationship with this type , but in Upper class circles nobody is wifing these type of women. |
You have summed it up perfectly. OP, get over yourself! |
This- I mean I guess you may look skinny because a lot of your weight is in your chest. 5'4" and 130 lbs is pretty average. |
I don’t know why people are so desperate to believe this myth. -Rich & Fat |
There’s always exception. Most women are not fat at my kids private school. Of course some are, but that’s not the norm. |
|
Ah so we went from literally, in your words, “nobody,” to some portion other than the majority. Cool! |
I’m not sure why you are getting so defensive. You might be fat, but you’re not dumb. |
Calling you out on pushing a stupid myth isn’t defensive. Lots and lots of rich women are overweight and obese. I have no idea why you enjoy perpetuating this narrative. Maybe it’s because *you’re* dumb? |
It’s simply a fact that wealthy people are thinner. This is not a myth and you are kidding yourself if you think wealthy status conscious successful men are looking to marry fat women. Dream on. I’m not saying it’s fair, but this is a fact of life. Fat is not attractive in UC circles. If that were desired you’d see more fat people in advertising and marketing. |
Seriously. |
Wealthy people are thinner. Also, many wealthy people are still overweight and obese. It’s a myth that they aren’t—they are less fat, but many are still fat. Also, wealthy men are attracted to overweight and obese women. Not all of them, and probably fewer than lower income men. But it’s a myth that no rich men, or even a negligible percent of rich men, are attracted to overweight and obese women. |
