+1. An American flag? No, could be anybody. An American flag big enough to be at a car dealership off the highway, or multiple American flags? Probably a Republican, and also a bit of a nut.

I resent that the 1/6er types have appropriated the Gadsden flag, but yeah I assume those license plates all belong to Republicans at this point.

+1

I assume the following are MAGA:
Gadsden flags and license plates
All blue flags
Massive US flags

I agree, add Confederate flags and Trump flags - All scream traitor to me.

Do you disagree with, or dislike the sentiment of those?

I find them mawkish and sententious.

Then I'd love to know what you think of the "In this house..." signs.

Oh god, those are terrible as well! Basically anything that you can put on a yard sign is bad. The only one I've ever seen that I liked was during the election, and it said "Presidents are Four Years...Wu Tang is Forever."

Sad that so many are triggered by the flag today. Instead of demonizing one another wouldn't it be nice if everyone who participated in this thread flew a flag because we are proud to live in a country where we can all demonize each other, especially the other political party? Freedom isn't free and overall we live together in peace - that is something to be proud of!

e pluribus unum

- displays normal sized flag year round in DC, mixed race, religion and political household

Btw I am the "mawkish and sententious" poster.

We’re not Republicans and we have a flag. I haven’t given up on this country despite being currently horrified by many of those in office. Gens Z and Apha will fix it in time!

In 2023, yes. I’m 1993, no.

Did I always assume the homeowner was Caucasian? Yes.

I am a Democrat who grew up in a military family where both parents were veterans. I fly OUR flag to honor them and all who serve and because I am proud to be an American citizen, despite all our problems and flaws.

This one is straight up racist. My LEO family can identify the racists by this flag.

It also identifies the ones that will lie on the stand for another cop.

I live in Boston, I used to think everyone with a flag was Republican, but really they are not.
