For the white people:

All black people do not care about how dark their child is going to be.

I loathe this guy.

For the black people:

It’s totally normal for anyone regardless of skin color to wonder what a couple’s baby will look like because genes are cool and often unpredictable.

Not everything is racist.

Even Rock thinks it was just normal in-law stuff.

Yep. Classic Rock observation.

Hmmm, my black co-worker who married his light skin black woman said his mother in law didn’t want them to marry. Why? She was afraid the grand kids would not have light skin. And they gave her the lightest grandchildren of all the others. So some do worry about it.

Chris Rock is pandering to white people. Wondering about how dark your baby is going to be is gross. Not saying it’s racist but def saying it’s not a great look. Especially given the history of….

#TeamWill

+1

Although, I’m not team Will. I don’t like either of them.

It was hypocritical as Chris picked on Jada.
If Will looks weak then Chris looks weaker.

Why are supposed men going after women?

Then they’re colorist and gross.

Not ok.

+1

And they are the reason people cringe when color is discussed.

Who cares what Chris Rock thinks?

He’s not some sort of representative or official for Black people.
It is racist at worst and colorist at best to worry about a baby’s coloring.

It's funny how people are pretending these conversations don't happen. Ever heard the phrase "check the ears?"

Yes. And what it’s followed by can either be a problem or not.

He's pro-choice, not pro-life. This bit fits with his comment that Republicans are flat out liars and Democrats omit some facts that would allow a more nuanced conversation. So he's using blunt language, but he's not pro-life.

Anonymous wrote:Chris Rock is a misogynistic ahole, who once again is commenting on a relationship that has nothing to do with him. He has a history of comedic stalking and Jada is perpetually his victim of choice, hence the slap. I don’t condone violence, but for some reason he just can’t let her go. Perhaps she rejected him at some point when they crossed paths. Who knows, but his treatment of women is pitiful. He and DCUM continue to make this about Jada, when really it is about two men that couldn’t control their worse impulses and behaved poorly in public. Call it comedy if you want but repeatedly referring to a woman you attempted to humiliate at the Oscars a B during your Netflix special is not worthy of praise. I hope is ex wife got half of his fee.

FTR, he was calling Will a B…which is essentially the most derogatory term a black person can hurl at a black man.

Rock’s own marriage ended due to his porn addiction and cheating. His ex did get half, and he’s still bitter.

This is absolutely untrue slander. He never called Will a B. He pointed out all the other people who called Will a B. So, he personally never called Will a B, only Jada.

Outing that he asked his adult daughter's high school head of school to expel her against the daughter and the wife's wishes on Netflix???

I wanted to throw up in my mouth.
