Let’s rank these girls schools

There's Oakcrest, and there's everyone else....

I can’t imagine a girl applying to all these schools, which are so different!

My DD applied to Holton and NCS only, got accepted to both, and chose Holton. I am sure she would have been happy at NCS too.

We did as well. Seemed like a healthy environment - no issues this far, and more convenient location for us.

Not everyone values prestige over everything else.

It's wherever your DD will thrive. That's all that matters

This. OP, what’s your purpose? Make our daughters even more stressed? Current alarming stats aren’t enough for you?

Agree. OP and PPs are so insecure that they need to tear down other schools and kids instead of being thankful they have what they have. No wonder all-girls have the rep of being mean girl schools. Look no further than their parents.

Emphatically, YES.

That hasn't been our experience. Cliques were much worse at former co-ed private.

DD turned down NCS for Madeira because she wanted a less stressful experience. Isn’t fit more important than prestige?

DD turned down Holton for Madeira. No regrets.

I get this. BUT I don't get why PP turned down NCS for Madeira. (If it's even true.)

It could be location or for the equestrian program or co-curriculum program…

Having looked at all these schools, Visi in all aspects is first, Maderia next, then stone ridge--NCS dead last, toxic messed up culture, riding on its reputation from years past
