That would be surprising as most people can't eat as much without feeling terrible. It isn't just an appetite suppressant. It actually slows the processing of food and affects the hormone that makes you feel full. |
Which sounds like they're taking it without any dr supervision. I've been reading reddit and some other sites and am surprised by the people taking it who seem to know nothing about the dosing. |
Are you crazy? I've been judgemental of the Atkins/Keto/low carb crazies forever! I 100% think they're doing more harm to their bodies than just staying fat. And they are probably fat again, fatter than when they started. Yo yo dieting is more dangerous than staying fat, that's been proven. I'm hoping these glutides stop the vicious yoyo cycle. |

Op here - Where did I say I wasn’t making any changes? I’m on WW and exercise 3x a week. I’m currently on 2.0 ozempic and haven’t lost anything! Zero appetite suppression. |
Huh? I was on ozempic for 6 months and it completely reversed my fatty Lieberman disease. I got off BP meds and I am got off statins. This drug has been a miracle for my heath. I have maintained my weight for over a year. I weigh myself daily and when I creep up 5lbs I clamp down on my calories for about 3 weeks and my weight comes down. The key for me is daily weigh ins and watching that I don’t let it get out of control. Where are you hearing it’s bad for your liver? Im scared to ask, Where do you people get your medical advice?! My side effects: Lower BP, excellent cholesterol, and reversal of fatty liver disease. Terrible! We need more access to this class of drugs, not less. Doctors who don’t prescribe it to obese patients are irresponsible and ignorant. |
Everyone tells Keto followers they’re losing weight the wrong way, numbnuts. It’s just another unhealthy, fad diet. |
Op here with an update! I’m on 2.0 dose and after 10 weeks I’ve lost 10 pounds. Not a huge amount, but my a1c went down 3.5 points and my cholesterol went from 260 to 143. Slow weight loss, but thanks to WW and very mild appetite suppression, the weight is coming off slowly. I didn’t load anything until I went up to 2.0 dose. |
Lose, not load! |
one pound a week is not slow weight loss. |
Compared to how other people lose on this medication, it’s pretty slow. I’m also 5’9 so you can’t tell, but I’m happy the scale is finally moving in the right direction. Couldn’t believe my labs after only 10 weeks! I’m really shocked about the cholesterol to be honest. |
That is great news OP. I know the weight loss seems slow, but slower weight loss is good. Easier on the body and you are more likely to keep it off. Plus, a pound a week is actually pretty good. And those cholesterol numbers are fantastic! |
My weight loss on it has been rapid, but I’m having major, seriously debilitating side effects after moving up to .5mg. So the grass isn’t necessarily greener. I’m hoping I can go back down and get to a steadier, slower place. |
That's great news OP, thanks for the update! BTW I'm also 5' 9" abd it's crazy how 10 lbs is nothing. That's how it creeps up imo . |
If it sounds too good to be true it is too good to be true. You lost 60 pounds by overeating and not exercising? Um. Ok. |
