PP here (at 150.5) Same here!! I was thinking I've been so careful eating - imagine if I ate a "regular" pasta dinner sheesh - I'd be back up to 160 in no time!! I am also weight lifting. I also want to be 140. Thats the ideal weight for me I believe. |
I went a little off the rails this weekend with a Valentine's date night and a Superbowl party. From a low of 147.6 I've bounced back up to 150.8. Felt bad to see the number this morning. Got to get back on the clean eating this week! |
(I was a DP - lots of us hovering around that 150lb barrier!) |
Yep 150.5 poster here - now 150.9 this morning! It's scary how easy it is to gain ![]() |
This isn't real gain! Its' water. Really, if you want to lose weight, track your calories and only weigh once a week. the difference between .5 & .9 isn't something you need to worry about. It's not healthy. |
That's one way, but it isn't the way that worked for me, a daily weigher, and I've lost over 90 pounds, so ... *shrug* Daily weigh ins help keep me from feeling too bad if I've worked really hard all week long and then my one weekly weigh in is super disappointing. It gives a steadier picture of the whole, and I prefer that to the big ups and downs in happiness and disappointment. |
keep in mind that poop matters. try getting an open system colonic. very mild and easier than closed system if you've never had one. |
Wut? |
I am not willing to go down that road or into that tunnel!!! |
I'm STILL stuck at 150 :O |
I used it over control my eating (thanks to my 5’10” mother and her nonstop reminders that she has “never gone above 123 outside of each pregnancy!”) and daily weigh-ins help keep me sane with regard to weight control. If I’m bloated (thanks peri menopause!), “feeling fat”, etc., the weigh-ins are a reality check. |
I also agree with daily over weekly weigh ins. Weigh fluctuates and thus the more data points the better. Once a week can mask changes. Now the important thing is that you should not alter what you are doing based on what the scale says. Like I said, weight fluctuates and that is normal. there fluctuations are not fat gain. No one gains 2-3 lbs of fat overnight. The overall trend over time is that matters. |
I am sorry to say I have only lost 2 lbs. How is everyone else doing. |
I'm doing weight watchers. Started at 160 on January 1, down to 147. I was already very active and didn't drink alcohol or soda, so the weight loss has really all come from tracking everything I eat and eating a lot less. My goal was to get to 140 by April 1, I am projected to hit that a week or two after April starts. If I can do that and then MAINTAIN...I will be thrilled. |
Still at 150 (149.5 this morning). I'm going to step it up now. I want to get to 144 or so within the next 6 weeks. I need to eat NO chocolate or cookies at all |
