| I am the youngest of all my first cousins from both sides, they are between 16-25 years OLDER than me. Different generation. Not much to talk about. It's funny because one of them lives around the corner from me, we occasionally run into each other with other dogs and we barely nod. |

My father is the youngest of 9 children and he is 18 years younger than the oldest child in the family.
My aunt, if she were alive, would be 105 if she were alive (my Dad is 87) and my grandmother would be 124 if she were alive! I'm 58 years old. I never understood my friends having "young" grandparents; some of my aunts were the age of my friends' grandparents! |
| My mom is the oldest of 9. She's 24 years older than her youngest sibling. |
| My father and his youngest (full) sister were 19 years apart. His mother had two kids in her twenties and then a 15+ year gap until the second set of kids. |
| A bit different story: my sister and I both grew up "only children." I was 16 when she was born and moved off to college shortly thereafter. No other siblings, same parents. We have a close relationship now as adults and have similar personalities, despite being from totally different generations. Another interesting thing, we each had two kids, all boys, and mine are teens while hers are still little. It's almost like she's a younger, smarter me, having my lived experiences and mistakes to learn from. |

16 between me and my sister. We are close now but never were growing up since I moved out when she was a little shy of 2.
I'm 45 with kids and a husband and she has a kid and husband now so we have more un common now. |
