How do you cook bacon?

Does cooking it in the oven reduce the smell? I hate when my entire house smells like bacon.

In a skillet. We tried the water method and it was not that complex a flavor or as crispy as we like it.

I use the microwave with paper towels on bottom and top, by the time I toast the bread for a blt, it’s done.I make them for family but I would never eat bacon. Clean up is easy, smell is minimal.

Is it messy or at least easy to clean? I love bacon and hope it’s easy to clean because I just got an air fryer!
