I find dogs annoying

Yep I am there with you. I don't like dogs.
Cats are my people.

I love cats too! I love all the animals. I don't trust people who don't like them. There is something absent in their soul.

I’ve found my tribe! Seriously, I thought I was the only one. I just pretend they’re cute, so I won’t look like a weirdo but in my mind I’m like ewww. I don’t get it. The whole dog is my kid thing.

I find people annoying. Not dogs. There are no bad dogs. Just bad dog owners.

Why do people feel the need to bring dogs absolutely everywhere? They don’t need to come to restaurants, farmers markets, festivals, and wineries.

What irks me the most is letting them off leash everywhere. Aren't they afraid their dog is going to get hit by a car? I don't let my pup off leash anywhere that isn't completely enclosed. Not even so much because it's the law, but because I love her and don't want anything to do happen to her. It also bothers me that people bring their dogs to the grocery store. I like to take my dog out with me, but I don't take her anywhere she isn't allowed, and if I'm not sure, I don't. These are probably the same people who litter and do other anti-social, entitled things.

All that said, yes, dogs are extremely annoying. Mine is always following me around the house, and if she's sitting still, she's staring at me. If they were human beings, they'd be the neediest, most clingy people ever! But they're cute and they love us, so I just smile to myself when my dog is staring adoringly at me like a weirdo.

Ugh... this.

People have no idea the regulations that rule farmers. They are required to not harvest any crop where animal feces has been spotted in the field. But I was at Whole Foods the other day and two people were pushing their "baby" around in the main part of the cart, where the next people need to put their food. So E. coli from deer or rabbits cause the food to be thrown away, but I can put my produce down where your dog's butt was and there is no problem. In this case, I was a "Karen," despite knowing that it was futile, and reminded them that this was against health codes. But I have no illusion that they will stop.

Is this the P St WF? Yuck!

I grew up in a densely forested country in Europe where dogs were large, beautiful and quiet. The first time I moved to my neighborhood here and witnessed a grown man trailing a tiny, ugly, shrieking dog dropping pieces of poop, scooping up dog feces into a plastic bag at 8 am, it was the most pitiful thing I’ve seen. I still think there is a giant conspiracy at work that grown adults will pick up an animal’s sh*t in public every day.

There are annoying dogs. But not all dogs are annoying.

My creature is a better companion than a judge-y human who thinks "beckon call" makes sense.

🤣🤣🤣

There are good dog owners and there are bad dog owners.

But, even as a lover of dogs, I do not like hyperactive tiny dogs or large, ferocious breeds.

I understand those who do not like dogs' barking, excessively excited behavior, or presence of dog waste.

+1 I've loved each of our dogs like family and totally agree with you.

People need to stop pretending they like dogs. Especially dogs coming up to them.

It's great you love your dog, but don't force your dog on the rest of us. Move your dog aside when people are walking by you, stop letting your dog trample/pee on people's yards, use real leashes, and train your dog.

Your laziness is no one else's burden.

There are a lot of humans who serve no purpose....so there is that.

Same. I love dogs. And I don’t find “dogs” annoying. But dogs barking endlessly in their yard or being off leash in public definitely annoy me.

+1 I seriously don’t understand the half-hearted “no no get down Fido“ when people‘s dogs jump on you. Like in what universe would it be acceptable for an animal to put its paws and dirty face on a human being not related to them? Am I supposed to be delighted by the enthusiasm? I don’t get it. Maybe this is a dog person thing.

I mean ... people are also bad for the environment, and many are poorly behaved.

But we serve a purpose.

Do we?
