Elevated liver enzymes

PP, no, it is not easily fixed and in fact non-alcoholic fatty liver is often irreversible.

No one can tell wtf is posting now, because posters aren’t identifying whether they are the OP or someone new in each post. Identify yourself each time you post or you’ll get replies for the OP.

+1 and most of the recent posts seem to be from the same person who just keeps posting random things post after post. Start a new thread if you want to discuss your specifics and don’t want to be confused as the OP.

I'm the OP and this is not me.

Which is why that person should have started their own thread.

Why, to discuss her own elevated enzymes?

Yes. Answers are getting mixed up because a new person joined the thread to discuss their own issue, with a different set of circumstances, and can’t grasp the internet norm of identifying themselves as someone different than the OP.

Giving that their lifestyles are vastly different they should have started their own thread to get advice instead of joining this one. For example they don’t drink and are getting frustrated becuase posters are still responding to OP’s facts.

I think there is definitely more than one person here who are not OP and having same issues with elevated enzymes. The elevated enzymes may have nothing to do with OP having 2 drinks a day, and that is the whole point of their answers. Some people have alcohol occasionally, and some don't, but somehow they all ended up with abnormal tests. Read the thread carefully, and read about the health issue discussed, if you need to. To me, all responses seem relevant. Somebody said that black coffee helps with liver enzymes, so I asked if they know if decaf works the same, and you are telling me to go and open a new thread. Sigh.

You’re clearly struggling with the concepts here. You still can’t identify which posts are yours so that people can provide helpful input. You also can’t seem to reply to posts to help keep things together. So yes, start a new thread.

OP, how is your weight? Liver enzymes could be elevated by alcohol as you note. You said you are a healthy eater, does that mean you steer clear of processed foods and fried foods? Eating a low fat diet/losing weight can also help in the event of fatty liver disease.

Also, the fruit/fructose link has been debunked a bit:

PP here. Actually, that study says there may be a link after 4 servings. Here's a different study: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30710884/

OP here - As I've answered before, I'm a healthy weight. I weigh around 140 - 5'7. I'm a fitness instructor.
I don't eat much processed and zero fried.
