That would destroy rural Western Loudoun.

Are you a developer, or do you live in Frederick County, MD?

Yes

Next stop Jefferson County, W. Va!

Lets swing that bad boy up to West Virginia while we're at it and make VA 267 an interstate.

Call it Interstate 67, since 66 is taken.

Let's charge tolls at POR and make beaucoup bucks from all the MD traffic.

What are you talking about? Route 15 goes nowhere near Jefferson County.

I thought that road was already an interstate

Use the funds collected from a toll charge at the bridge to fund the roundabouts.

Win-win.

How 'bout it, Loudoun Board of Supervisors?

I wish it was, it would be free and not tolled.

Odd numbered interstates go east to west. Even numbered interstates go north to south.

On the off chance 267 EVER became an Interstate, 67 fits the grid, the road does go North - South.

That's exactly what we need... WMATA needs to get off their asses and extend the silver line all the way up to Leesburg and then to point of rocks

Yawn.

Metro is broken. No body is wants to take it. People that live out there are not looking for a “transit oriented” lifestyle.

Expanding Metro out there would take decades and cost tens of billions.

Expanding 15 can happen in a few years at a reasonable cost and it’s what the people that live there want.

Bore off.

Are you kidding me? Trains are still very packed at morning and evening rush hour.

I cannot wait for the Loudoun Station silver line to open - no more driving to Reston each day and fighting the toll road traffic to take the Metro into DC for work.

I was coming home from a show in DC yesterday evening at 10:30 and the Silver Line coming into Reston was pretty full to where there were no open seats. There weren't people standing in my car but still, no seats available.

I-166 or I-366 makes more sense, but I don’t think it needs to be an Interstate.

Who compensates me if they need my land/house for this? The State or Loudon County?
