I've had prayers answered immediately. Sometimes, the answer is not what you would want or expect. Sometimes it takes time. Months, years. God's ways are mysterious.

My relationship with God and prayer has waxed and waned. At the absolute lowest point of my life, God was with me every second, the dozens of prayers I made every day were clearly heard and many were immediately answered.

I’m trying to work my way back to that kind of relationship, but I’m struggling for some reason I don’t know. I’m grateful that I had the experience though, so I know how powerful prayer can be. May God bless you all.

You are wrong about one thing: It is not a "religious" forum, it is a "religion" forum, and that is why it is titled as such. So then why do you prefer religion not be objectively discussed? Are you saying that to discuss religion requires belief in one?
