They should have had trump signs and fought with the Capitol Police. My guess is the group did not have enough white men…so they were arrested.

My guess is that the Capitol Police are no longer going to humor anyone, regardless of their White count.

I’d wait for the whole story. This got picked up by right wing propaganda outlets suspiciously quickly. Like it was a set up, a political arrest. We know there are right wing elements within the Capitol Police, we all saw the images of the Capitol Police officers who just opened the barriers for the insurrectionists and those who posed for selfies with the insurrectionists as their patriotic colleagues were being assaulted as they fought to save the country.

If Colbert's ratings weren't high enough, I think everyone is going to be watching the insurrection puppet dog bit when it's ready. I think Colbert may even have gotten some very funny extra material out of this.

To be clear, the Capitol Police never arrested anyone for January 6, 2021. Other agencies have stepped in to do the job. Leadership at the USCP is a joke. They released that statement that Loudermilk was giving an innocuous tour the night before the attack. Loudermilk sits on the committee that hires and fires USCP “leaders.”

No, they did not have permission. They were told to leave. And, they didn't. A Dem congressman's staff member actually let them into the building. Illegally.
